GM: You are back in Central City, or The Centipede. You are at the docks of the resort area. It's quiet. Palm trees, giant super yachts, restaurants and bars, expensive sports cars. The large white semi-circular hotel to your side.

You make your way in to the city. The deeper you go, the more it towers above you. Dark buildings. Neon. Traffic and fumes. Smell of street food. A nice private beach reserved for the rich and influential. What do you do?

Malaika: Back to the grind. I'll call a cab to take me back to my apartment.

GM: The cab arrives after an expected wait. Neon sign on it's roof advertising "Brain Milk". You jump in and you ping the location to the driver.

Malaika: I'll review my notes on my HUD. In regards to the cops, who is in charge of the investigation?

GM: Detective Kavin Pryde.

Malaika: I'll make note to speak to him. Might be reasonable and be able to share information.

I'll research recent news on the following: Medicorp, Rogue AI, Ecocorp, Solo activity in eco-science incidents

GM: You read an articale about a Pro AI Group that is trying to find out about a rumoured AI prison.

GM: You notice that a social commentor has connected Ecocorp to an ancient legend where someone/thing under the guise of healing the planet will bring about its ruin. Many conspiracy theorists are drawn to this. It's easy to think someone who believes this could take it too far. Or that someone might have manufactured the story.

The are reports the some companies are concerned at how Ecocorp's experiment will hit their profits and the stock markets. Many say it should have more research on how to roll out such a huge change. Could this prompt sabotage?

Ecocorp has built a beautiful utopia somewhere and people wonder why. Some think it is a kind of end-of-days type retreat. Conspiracy thinking or cult activity?

GM: There's is a brief article about a solo who was detained after breaking in to Medicorp. No further news stories on this. Could be suspicious?

What now?

Malaika: To summarise, I need to look in to:

1. Pro-AI group. Need to get an interview with the person at the top.
2. Ancient Legend. Need to find out where this started, where the legend came from, and if there are any notable militant conspiracy theorists that might take it seriously.
3. Economic threat. Need to dig in to which companies are affected and might be likely to carry out sabotage to protect their wealth.
4. Utopia. Will reach out to Nezia about this. Think up an excuse to get shown round.
5. Detained solo. Who was it? Need to speak to them. Why no follow up story?

The strongest lead is 5. Will have a rest then start on this tomorrow.
